So, learn the traffic no cost methods addition below.
Traffic strategy #9 is – using RSS Submissions
This is where you submit your content and get it syndicated to multiple sites online. It is the very reason why blog platforms such as www.blogger.com are so popular with the search engines. It gets your fresh content noticed and out on the internet.
It is simple to submit the RSS feeds from your Blogger blogs. You can then submit it to another site such as www.feedage.com. It is one of the free RSS feed sites. There are plenty of free ones that you can do a search engine keyword search for to identify them. Choose to promote your content and then copy and paste once you have you account set up with the free RSS feed site.
Traffic strategy #10 is – using Forum Marketing
This is where you join popular and active forums in your niche market. When it comes to the traffic, you need to be where your audience is hanging out. This is where you get the eyeballs, where you get the following. This is where you get the people that are going to pay attention to what you share.
Forums and message boards are full of possibilities for you. Make sure you are using a catchy signature line. Make sure you join forums that allow you to have that signature line. Without that, you aren’t going to be able to generate the exposure or to get noticed. That signature line allows you to tell them to check out your link or a post or free report.
Search on Google for your niche market with the word forum behind it to find plenty that you can work with. We also recommend going to http://www.boardreader.com/ and typing in your niche market. It is a big option out there and it runs the whole thing. You will find plenty of sites like this out there.
Look for those that offer a signature line and you are off to the races. It isn’t just about sharing your link. It is about sharing your knowledge, asking questions, and offering real value. That is what it boils down to and that is what people will take notice of. If you are consistent in what you say you will do, you will really see the value of what you post in the forums adding up.
Traffic strategy #11 is – using Q&A sites
The Q&A sites are very similar to www.answers.yahoo.com and www.answers.com. You can answer questions and you can post links to articles and videos to share that information with them. There is a search feature and that allows you to look for questions or answers for your niche market.
You can write a nice blog post that answers that question. You can comment back to them and tell them about that article. You give them a direct answer to that question. It also will increase your traffic. Be active on these sites and understand the needs of what your niche has. Occasionally, send them to your website.
These Q&A out there will stay on the internet for a very long time. They will also get indexed in the search engines. Make sure you have your profile set up too so that you get credit. Any type of website that you are part of, you should put a link to your website in your profile. It just offers one more way for information to link back to your website.
Traffic strategy #12 is – using Press Release Sites
Press release sites are a great way to get information out about your website and content. They answer the basic journalistic questions:
- Who is your press release about?
- Why did you write it?
- What was your purpose?
- How can it be accessed?
You can answer these types of questions in a good press release. You can take a look at these examples to get ideas for what it should look like. Press releases are a great way to generate backlinks and to gain exposure. They get plenty of traffic. It is another way that your content can be found and leveraged on these sites. They already are considered authority websites.
A couple of great examples you can explore are www.25pressreleases.com and www.prlog.org. They have been around for a long time. They really get lots of traffic and a high page rank. They can get you lots of potential traffic. They also have tons of great examples about press releases. They have a free option and also a paid option.
You can also Google free press release sites to find other options. Again, at any point in time a free site can change their terms and conditions. They can start to charge or they may go down. That is why we don’t give you a huge, exhaustive list of these sites. These free websites are always changing.
We recommend that you submit to 5 to 10 really good press release sites. When you are doing that search, make sure you look for results deep so you can maximize the results that you find.
Traffic strategy #13 is – using Document and Slide Sharing Sites
This is where you create a PowerPoint presentation that targets your niche market. Do really good slides with bullet points and some screen shot images. Upload it to a document sharing site and share a link to your website. Place that link at the beginning and ending of the slides. A couple of great examples are www.slideshare.net and www.edocr.com.
If they allow you to add a link in your profile, do so. You also want to make sure that you use rich keywords in your title and in your slides.
Traffic strategy #14 is – using Online Classifieds
Post your website link in the appropriate category on these sites. You want to stay on top of the listings so that they don’t expire. Many of them offer free listings but they expire after a period of time.
Some good examples include www.classifiedads.com and www.usfreeads.com. You can find a relevant category where you can post your content. It may be in services or business or home opportunities. You know what category you should be in and that is where you post your ads for your website.
Those are really good sites that you can post a few lines on. You can also use Craigslist to get some free traffic. Most of the time, those listings do expire so just stay on top of when they will.
Traffic strategy #15 is – using Guest Blogging
This is a great way to go because you can find great blogs with a targeted audience. Search engines frown on you using this for backlinks, but it is a good way to get a targeted source of traffic. If guests login to a site where you were a guest blogger, you get your content out there in front of another group of people.
Don’t do this only for the SEO benefit as that has changed. A good site to take a look at is www.myguestblog.com. You can become someone that accepts content on your own blog. You can also become someone that does the guest blogging as well. Another alternative is to do a search phrase in Google.
The final traffic strategy that we are going to cover is blog commenting. Again, there are others out there that work but these are the top 16 we want to focus on. Now, you may be rolling your eyes at this one but you need to use it. This can get you lots of exposure in front of the right people.
The key here is you want to be quick. You want to find highly targeted niches where you can comment. You leave a comment with your link. A short response about what you agree with or you don’t and then you post it. Most of the time, they will ask for your name and your email. They will also ask for your website.
Talk about what you like or didn’t about their article. Your comments will now show up below the popular articles in your niche. This is a great way to get exposure and to get indexed. A good example is to go to www.google.com/blogsearch. You can type in your niche market. That will bring up the popular, recent blog posts.
You can go to those blogs and see if you can leave comments there. Leave something and place your website link. Boom, now you are able to get traffic going back to your website. You want to be quick with this method so that you are among the first to respond. You don’t do this for the SEO but for the traffic that is related to your niche market.
Choose a traffic strategy now and be consistent. Get started with taking action with your traffic. It takes effort but it is well worth the payoff to get highly targeted, free traffic.
